Michigan PIA offers several opportunities to network and learn about new initiatives throughout the year. Because we’re heavily involved in advocacy on behalf of our members and insurance consumers, we host events such as an annual Legislative Day. This event allows our members to join fellow agents from across the state to learn about legislative issues that affect their business – both on a federal and state level.

The most recent Legislative Day, for example, focused on efforts to reform Michigan‘s No-Fault Laws. The event included an opportunity for agents to speak directly with state representatives and senators about how those legislators could help their agencies.

Another annual event Michigan PIA hosts each year is the Golf Classic. This is an opportunity to make valuable business connections while supporting the worthy cause of raising money for scholarships that will go to qualified college students in the state.

One of the goals of Michigan PIA is to keep members informed and connected. We do this by continuing to develop and offer events and news that is valuable to our members.
